Metodika online pozůstalostní péče: Provázení procesem truchlení

Martin Kupka, Jan Kaňák, Lenka Macháčková, Sylvie Stretti, Olga Pechová, Klára Machů, Petra Pozdníková, Tomáš Bok, Naděžda Špatenková

The main goal of this methodology is to offer a comprehensive - practically oriented guide to provide psychosocial (spiritual) support and care to people who have lost a loved one in the online space. The goal of bereavement care, so conceived, is to help the individual manage the emotional and practical challenges of bereavement and adjust to a new identity and reality without the deceased. In doing so, we are responding to a society-wide need for the availability of skilled care in situations of limited contact, as has occurred in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic (infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus). We see this need both with a view to the future, should similar measures have to be taken again. Capacity building and learning in the context of limited interpersonal contact means preparedness for future threats (pandemics, war, natural disasters, etc.). At the same time, we believe that the current potential of information (electronic) technologies makes it possible to make this service more accessible (cheaper), especially with regard to individuals who live in excluded localities, outside large cities or whose health condition does not allow them to travel. This methodology has been developed with the support of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic under the Programme for Support of Applied Research and Innovation SIGMA 1. VS SIGMA DC3. Supporting the innovation potential of social sciences, humanities and arts. Project TQ01000067 Online counselling for the bereaved.
