Prosociálnosť v kontexte rizikového správania v dospievaní
- Katarína Banárová, Michal Čerešník, Daniel Lenghart, Miroslava Čerešníková
Are prosociality and prosocial behavior in a community of others a typically human trait? What types of prosocial behavior have scientists identified, and how does prosociality develop during childhood and adolescence? If we behave prosocially, are we less likely to engage in socially risky behavior in relation to ourselves or others? You will find answers to these and many other questions in this monograph. It presents a view of adolescence and adolescents in the Czech Republic and Slovakia in the context of two forms of social behavior—prosocial and risky. The research team's goal was to uncover the relationships between the production of risky and prosocial behavior in adolescence and to verify the protective potential of prosociality in relation to risky behavior. Understanding the relationship between risky and prosocial behavior may be key to developing effective prevention and intervention programs targeting children and adolescents.
